**WKCQ’s Wam Bam Country Jam**

Midland, Mich – Midland County Fair and WKCQ’s Wam Bam Country Jam presents two of country’s brightest, starring hit maker Craig Morgan and Former American Idol Finalist, Bucky Covington, live in concert on Tuesday, August 12^th, 2008 at 8:00 PM at the Fair.

Craig Morgan, one of country music’s best-loved artists, has made a name for himself with massive radio airplay of his signature hits, including “Almost Home”-which was named Music Row Song of the Year in 2003, the chart topping summer anthem “Redneck Yacht Club,”  “That’s What I Love About Sunday”—which spent five weeks at #1 and was Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of the Year in 2005, and his most recent #1 smash, “International Harvester.”

Bucky Covington, a former American Idol contestant with lots of natural charm that carries over into his music, has become one of the most energetic and compelling entertainers in country music. Songs like his great single, “A Different World,” the rocking “American Friday Night, “ the story song “I’ll Walk,” together with his current top ten single “It’s Good To Be Us,” will prove to make the summer night a sensational live music experience.

Other events at the fair grounds will include USA Demolition & Circle 8 Derby, Championship Rodeo, Harness Racing, and the Fair Royalty Contest. The Fair runs August 10 through August 16.
