**Disney’s Raven Symone**

Midland MICH-The Midland County Fair is proud to present one of Disney Channel’s biggest stars Raven Symone. Raven, who is the charismatic teen star of Disney Channel’s comedy series “That’s So Raven” will be performing Monday, August 11, 2008 at 7 PM in Midland, Michigan at the Fairgrounds.

Although Raven is known to most as the main character in her hit series That’s So Raven she has been acting since the young age of four. Starting in 1989, she played Bill Cosby’s granddaughter, Olivia, on The Cosby Show. Soon after, Raven was cast as Nicole Lee on the show Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper. 

Following shortly after, Raven began her big screen roles in movies such as The Little Rascals, Dr. Dolittle and Dr. Dolittle 2. She also made appearances in Fat Albert and The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement.

In 2002, Raven began her roles in what would become one of Disney Channel’s most successful hit series. She became the star in her very own show That’s So Raven and soon after became the voice behind Monique, the animated character in Disney’s action/comedy Kim Possible. Besides all of her successful roles on television and the big screen, Raven is a member of the all-girl band, The Cheetah Girls. They have already released a platinum hit CD and two Disney Original TV Movies.

Raven also writes and records music as a solo project. She has released four solo albums Here’s to New Dreams, Undeniable and This is My Time and her self-titled 2008 release, Raven Symone with each selling thousands of records in the U.S alone.
